Mark is a native Austinite. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and began a thirty-year career in commercial banking. Following a calling to minister to others, he graduated from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest with a Master of Arts in Counseling.
Mark is a Licensed Professional Counselor and maintains a private practice serving adult clients, individuals and couples.
Mark has served as a resource speaker for churches and businesses. He has served as a chaplain at the Travis County Correctional Complex and as a pastoral minister at Austin Recovery Center. He has been a volunteer counselor and supervisor at Capitol Area Mental Heath Center.
Mark teaches a pre-marital counseling class for engaged couples at San Jose Catholic Church. He uses the Prepare-Enrich curriculum in his practice with couples.
Mark teaches the ten week series “When Your Relationship Ends” with Dr. Larry Miller at the Austin Divorce Recovery Center.
