About Us

Austin Area Christian Counselors of Texas is a chapter of Christian Counselors of Texas, Inc. Our local chapter is a body of professional Christian counselors and therapists, as well as other individuals involved in the "community of care" throughout the Austin area.  We provide educational opportunities to encourage new ideas for therapeutic practices and fellowship that encourages one another in our journey of serving God by helping others.

We host regular meetings on the third Friday of each month.  Our meetings are open to members and visitors interested in the integration of Christian faith and best counseling practices. At our meetings, speakers present topics pertinent to integrating spiritual resources into best practice options.  On selected occasions our topic provides 1-CEU for those interested in credit.

In addition to our regularly meetings, we provide a counseling directory for individuals seeking counseling or therapy from licensed professionals who integrate faith perspectives with the counseling process.
